FAQ
-
What does a birth doula do?
A birth doula provides continuous emotional support, comfort measures, and advocacy during labor and birth. Think of me as your calm in the storm — helping you feel seen, supported, and informed every step of the way.
-
When should I hire a doula?
The earlier, the better! Many families hire a doula during the second trimester, but I also take last-minute clients when availability allows.
-
Do I have to be pregnant to work with you?
Not at all! While I specialize in perinatal and maternal mental health, I also support clients navigating stress, trauma, relationships, and identity shifts. You deserve care at every stage of life.
-
Do you attend hospital births or just home births?
I support all birth settings — hospital, birth center, or home. My role is to help you feel grounded and confident wherever you choose to give birth.
-
Are sessions virtual or in-person?
Sessions are offered virtually for flexibility and comfort — so you can show up as you are, from wherever you are.
-
How do I know if you’re the right fit for me?
The best way to know is by scheduling a free consultation. It’s a no-pressure space to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see if our energy aligns.
